Talitta, already three years…

How time goes by… the other day Toñin reminded me that we have had Looks from Tanzania for two years now and it still seems incredible to me. And the most amazing thing is that it keeps moving and hasn’t stopped in all this time.

When I look back I find that motivation that sometimes, because of tiredness or whatever, you can lose.

And I ask myself, what now? Well, now to keep working and achieving goals.

The other day I had a very special meeting, I met Rukia and her beautiful family again. If you don’t remember her, you can read the post dedicated to her here. She remains the same with that strength that characterizes her and that impresses me. No matter how much she suffers, she looks serene and more grateful she couldn’t be.

She takes care of her four children by herself, working as much as she can, and the children come to eat at Mama Kevina Feeding Program. Seeing her little daughter, Talitta, has been awesome, she’s three now.

This reminds me that it has been four years since we met Rukia in that “house” with a lost, sad, weak look and in the final stretch of Talitta’s pregnancy… the most beautiful thing is to see how history has changed although it has many barriers and daily struggles. Little by little he will continue to advance, of that I am sure.
